Every beauty editor has a drawer like this: half-used serums with the labels rubbed off, a decant bottle of something French and expensive, three different retinols bought on three different pieces of conflicting advice, and a growing suspicion that nobody—not the counter, not the comment section, not the fifteenth "holy grail" headline that week—was actually going to explain why.
That drawer is where Beauty Path started.
What began as personal notes turned into shared ones. Shared notes turned into a small readership that kept asking for more—more context, more comparisons, more honesty about what a product could and couldn't actually do for a specific skin, at a specific age, in a specific climate.
Beauty Path grew the way good taste usually does: slowly, deliberately, and with a refusal to recommend anything the team wouldn't put on their own shelf. Today, that original instinct—curiosity first, hype never—still runs the whole operation. The drawer just got a lot bigger, and a lot better organized.

A decade-plus in beauty editorial before founding Beauty Path, Mireille built the site's editorial standards from the ground up and still reads every guide before it publishes. Her specialty is spotting the difference between a genuinely reformulated product and a repackaged one.
Bianca Rodriguez
Bianca enjoys taking a familiar beauty question and looking at the variables underneath it—formula, feel, routine, preference, tolerance, or simply how someone actually uses a product. Her writing is conversational and exacting in equal measure, which makes complicated beauty subjects considerably less intimidating.

Noor brings a research-minded approach to the team while keeping her writing approachable and enjoyable to read. What are the tradeoffs?
An effective ingredient may still be irritating for some people. A richer formula may be lovely for one skin type and uncomfortable for another. Useful advice includes the caveats.
Does it need its own step?
Beauty loves a new category. Your routine doesn’t necessarily need one.
Is the claim stronger than the evidence?
If the research is limited, mixed, preliminary, or highly context-dependent, our wording should reflect that.
